This wheel-thrown handless mug is handcrafted in Cornwall using dark stoneware clay, celebrating the natural beauty and rich tones of the material. Each mug is shaped with a flowing wave texture along the side, creating a tactile surface where the glaze naturally gathers within the contours.

Finished with an ancient Jun glaze on the inside and partially down the exterior, the design allows the deep colour of the Cornish clay to remain visible, creating a beautiful contrast between glazed and raw surfaces. Iron oxide accents along the rim gently bleed into the glaze, adding warmth and subtle character to every piece.

Designed to be held in both hands, the wave texture makes this mug wonderfully tactile and comfortable to use. A unique handmade vessel that combines traditional craftsmanship with everyday functionality.
