This wheel-thrown oven dish is handcrafted in Cornwall using locally sourced dark stoneware clay. A gentle ripple is formed around the sides, giving the piece an elegant organic shape while making each dish subtly unique.

The clay contains natural mineral particles that emerge through the glaze during firing, creating distinctive speckles and surface character. The rim is finished with iron oxide, which softly bleeds into the glaze to add warmth and depth. An ancient Jun glaze enhances the rich tones of the Cornish clay, producing beautiful variations in colour and a soft, luminous finish.
