This wheel-thrown bowl is handcrafted in Cornwall using dark stoneware clay with natural mineral inclusions. During firing, small particles of ore emerge through the Jun glaze, creating unique spots and speckles that give each piece its own character.

The rim is enhanced with iron oxide, which gently bleeds into the glaze, adding warmth and depth to the surface. The ancient Jun glaze works in harmony with the rich Cornish clay, highlighting its natural colour variations and creating a soft, luminous finish.
