This large bowl is wheel-thrown in Cornwall using locally sourced dark stoneware clay. The clay contains natural mineral particles that emerge through the Jun glaze during firing, creating unique speckles and textured surface details, making every piece one of a kind.

The rim is highlighted with iron oxide, which gently bleeds into the glaze, adding warmth, depth, and character. Finished in a traditional Jun glaze, this ancient glaze beautifully complements the rich tones of the clay, producing subtle variations in colour and a soft, luminous finish.

Perfect as a serving bowl, fruit bowl, or decorative centrepiece.
