This elegant medium-sized bottle is wheel-thrown using a carefully balanced blend of porcelain and raku clay, specially formulated to help withstand the intense thermal shock of the raku firing process.

The surface is decorated with a copper wash and fired in a raku kiln before undergoing a further sawdust firing, creating a rich, organic finish with unique patterns and natural variations shaped by the interaction of fire and smoke.

The neck is finished with polished terra sigillata, which darkens naturally during the sawdust firing process. It is then polished again to create a beautiful contrast between the smooth, refined neck and the expressive textured body of the vessel.

Each bottle is completely unique, celebrating the beauty and unpredictability of traditional raku techniques. A striking decorative piece for collectors and lovers of handmade ceramics.
